A bit of a big year for Oliver Skream Jones; the second lp 'Outside The Box' came out in late Summer and he took dubstep to the top of the charts as part of the Magnetic Man project with Benga and Artwork. However the tracks that really stood out for me this year and in someways perhaps lead to me being slightly disappointed with the lp, were the Freeizm tracks that he dropped just before it's release.
I think it was the second zip file that contained all my favourite tracks, Pitfall, Cut Like A Buffalo and (below) Minimool. It sounded like Underworld making dubstep and really well.
Then there were the remixes this year. It was going to take something a bit special to top last years In 4 The Kill refix. Well this one not only topped it, it smashed it. Donae'o's original was turned into a proper ravers anthem. Jungle breaks, airhorns throughout, the breakdown and pull break then it kicks back in harder.
